You are so welcome Andrew, my pleasure. I am in complete agreement about classic black and white films, especially the 30's, 40's, and 50's. They are a true artform, not to be repeated. Making wonderful use of lighting, "Casa Blanca," comes to mind. I need to share more of my black and white images. I guess I hold back, because I don't feel some have the appreciation for this artform. It takes more than one thinks to pull it off. My Dad who is a black and white photographer, influenced me too.

Many thanks Janet for your comment, Yes I agree that a lot more should have appreciation for b/w work whether it be art of photography. There is so much you can do with shadows and lighting that you can't with color.

WOW, Andrew! This is magnificent. I don’t know this actor right off, but this drawing of him is remarkable. What a striking individual. The facial features are amazing, especially his eyes. Full of life and sparkle. I really love the black and white version the best, but then I am partial to this art form; film, photography, paintings, charcoal, graphite. So well done. Such a talent. Also CONGRATULATIONS for the Homepage Feature. Randy gave a great critique of your artwork. LF Janet 💕

Many thanks Janet for your kind comment. I also love b/w and working in that medium. I have always loved the old b/w movies which may have some baring on it.
